About The Position

As a P&D Driver, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering freight locally, serving as a direct representative of Southeastern Freight Lines to customers. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer in various conditions, performing vehicle operations such as coupling and uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment. Requirements

Minimum of 6 months driving experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers
No automatic restrictions on CDL
At least 21 years old
Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
Ability to handle receipts
Ability to read maps and road signs
Ability to maintain driving logs
Detailed knowledge of and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines, including those governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and the transportation of hazardous materials
Meet DOT physical qualifications
Pass alcohol and drug tests
