About The Position

As a P&D Driver, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering freight locally, serving as the face of Southeastern Freight Lines to customers. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer in various conditions, handling vehicle operations such as coupling, uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months driving experience
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers
  • No automatic restrictions on CDL
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to handle receipts
  • Ability to read maps and road signs
  • Ability to maintain driving logs
  • Detailed knowledge of and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines, including those governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and the transportation of hazardous materials
  • Meet DOT physical qualifications
  • Pass alcohol and drug tests
