The Position As the Design & Curation Practice Lead, you actively contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the People & Organizational Growth (P&OG) Chapter and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and value creation. As a member of the chapter enabling team, you will work with the Chapter Lead and other Enabling Team members to ensure fulfillment of the chapter vision and strategy as well as excellent delivery of priorities. You will collectively inspire and engage the chapter members to collaborate across the network and exponentially contribute towards Roche’s 10 Year Ambitions and the People & Culture North Star. Within your Area of Practice, you are accountable for setting the strategic direction, setting conditions to empower prioritization and decision-making and providing coaching and development opportunities, acting as a thought leader for enterprise L&D. The Design & Curation Area of Practice is responsible for the design of new and high impact solutions such as capability development programs at scale for all levels of leaders and employees, large business events and learning experiences, and the evolution of our people practices, including the appropriate integration of technology and AI, systems & tools. Importantly, with a bias towards ‘’designing once’’ and ‘’re-use’’, this area of practice will have an important role to play in curating content to meet specific business needs, and ensuring the prioritization of and access to learning across all business areas and geographic locations, community engagement, and knowledge sharing. Your opportunity Provide strategic leadership and innovation for the chapter including contributing to the vision, strategy, planning, budgeting, governance and organization design Act as Chapter Architect / Spine reviewer on practice related topics Drive the OneRoche mindset within the practice Accountable for and foster capability development for the practice Catalyze action through the formation of squad teams to deliver on prioritized work Monitor and drive completion of work in the practice area for all regions / globally Ensure adherence to governance and delegations of authority Drive harmonization of processes and practices Operational Excellence: Driving Customer Experience (CX), prioritization, capacity planning, and defining metrics to measure impact Define quality standards, service level agreements and KPIs for the practice Provide content requirements, guidelines and support, as applicable, to the PSS chapter Participate in the staffing, coaching, developing of chapter employees, and ensures availability of capabilities according to demand

Requirements

  • Practice Leads Strategic Leadership and Innovation to elevate the practice as thought leader for enterprise learning

  • Strong functional expertise in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, and Large Group Design, L&D tech and AI support.

  • End-to-end accountability (incl. big picture and impact understanding, engaging others to ensure a successful outcome)
  • Problem-solving (incl. active listening, critical thinking, process improvements)

  • Breadth of experience across different business and geographic environments
  • 10 years of related experience in Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or similar field; experience with technology-enabled learning is required.
