About The Position

Bring fresh flavor and great service to the table – join us as an Oyster Bar Shucker! We’re hiring for a dynamic role that combines seafood preparation, full-service bartending, and guest service in our fast-paced, award-winning Squaxin Island Seafood Bar. As an Oyster Bar Shucker, you’ll prepare and serve fresh oysters and other seafood, craft beverages, take guest orders, and provide an exceptional dining experience from start to finish - all while having the opportunity to earn excellent tips on top of your hourly wage. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Three months related experience and/or training.
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food showpieces such as Crab, Oysters, Lobster, and Shrimp. Prepare cocktails and cashier.
  • Stocks and prepares shellfish items for Oyster Bar (shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters, crab, etc.)
  • Daily line check for freshness of all products.
  • Shucks oysters and clams, peels shrimp for all Guests.
  • Serves daily fresh made soups & stews for Oyster Bar.
  • Prepares all alcoholic beverages (liquor, beer, wine) has knowledge of Liquor, beers and our wines as per our wine listing. Previous bartending experience a plus.
  • Cashiers as needed.
