As an Own Brand Designer, you'll deliver timely, high-quality, consumer-based package design, while focusing on project and positioning briefs, packaging specifications, and integrity of our Own Brand (OB) strategy. You will work on a variety of projects from clean sheet creative for unique product launches, new brand development as well as line extensions and maintenance work. Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. Project Management / Design & Development Heavy Focus on Creative Work for Print: New Brand Development Interesting & unique design solutions for new product packaging Internal Marketing campaigns Business Acumen & Expectations: Lead creation and delivery of digital presentations to the business team Heavy collaboration with Brand Managers for brand strategy and direction Must be comfortable with constructive criticism - feedback is constant in this role Proactively seeks out / works with Design Manager (if needed) to manage workload and project timelines Proactively seeks out / works with Design Manager (if needed) to research retail market, trend awareness, competitive landscape, and overall category to provide on-strategy design solutions Proactively seeks out / works with Design Manager (if needed) to create design concepts that meet or exceed objectives Communicates / presents effectively in design and Store reviews Carries a workload of multiple projects Accepts feedback / criticism of design concepts Applies feedback from OBM to revise design concepts and provide alternate solutions that meet brand strategy and objectives Learns to manage / provide direction to external vendors (e.g., Photography Studio, Illustrators) Creates / manages project-level expenses Proactively seeks feedback / assistance from Senior Designer II and Design Manager(s) if necessary
