About The Position

Mission Yogurt Inc. is seeking Prep Cooks for The Bindery at Denver International Airport. This position requires working the overnight shift from 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a line cook, BOH prep, grill cook, or team member
  • Delivery of superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to follow recipes, portioning guidelines, food preparation instructions, and safety protocols accurately.
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures, including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Maintain knife logs and temperature logs when needed.
  • Assist with all overnight duties, including setting up workstations and properly storing ingredients.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and compliant kitchen.
  • Properly wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients for use in menu items.
