Position Profile: The Overnight Peer Recovery Coach & Attendant provides support and acts as a resource to clients who are currently in the Milestone Residential Treatment Program, a 28-day treatment program in Portland, Maine. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Function as a member of the Milestone Residential Treatment Program (RTP) team which includes responsibilities such as the following: Participate in trainings, including Motivational Interviewing, to develop skills consistent with program core values and develop client engagement with peer recovery work within the Milestone Community. Provide support and oversight to Residential Treatment Program throughout the shift to include engaging in hourly room checks; must have the ability to be awake and alert for all hours of the shift Responsible for cleaning duties including dusting, cleaning up occasional spills and messes, sanitizing surfaces, organizing, and generally helping to maintain a clean and functional unit. Work in a professional and compassionate manner with Milestone clients who struggle with addiction, and may have histories that include being unhoused, criminal activity, trafficking, and/or exploitation, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Document activities in client record as needed. Facilitate morning medication pass and document client medications (clients self-administer their medications) Participate in supervision with the Clinical Team Lead. Accept and perform other duties as assigned. Schedule: 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
