About The Position

Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Overnight Laundry Attendant to join our Rooms division team to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of housekeeping related equipment and supplies
• Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Being able to follow proper job-related guidance

Responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly phone etiquette to all guest and colleague calls for service.
• Document all orders accurately with specific guest requests communicated.
• Assist in other areas as per Laundry Manager and Laundry instruction.
• Document all orders in a neat and organized fashion.
• Report all Lost and Found to housekeeping office
• Deliver laundry in a positive, friendly manner.
• Offer to hang and/or unwrap clothing.
• Offer additional assistance in general terms.
