With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations. #PGH-SKL What you will have an opportunity to do: Sort all daily linen. Loading and unloading all dryers in the proper manner, to include the cleaning of lint traps in dryers when needed. Operating the linen spreader, towel/linen folder and ironer in the proper manner. Operating a commercial washer/extractor in a relief capacity as directed. Reporting any problems or malfunctions of laundry equipment to a supervisor. Utilizing disposable gloves and the necessary protection while working in the laundry area. Assisting other laundry personnel with their job assignments when necessary. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Turning off equipment prior to leaving at the end of each shift. Assist pick-up with loading of closets when necessary.

Requirements

Full work availability including weekends and evenings is highly desired.
Time management skills.
Ability to work on feet for most of the shift.
Good communication skills.
Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs. in tight spaces.
Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.
Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.

Responsibilities

Sort all daily linen.
