Requirements
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, LVT) required or equivalent emergency and specialty clinical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary hospital operations or emergency care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise overnight Associates, including credentialed technicians and client service representatives.
- Ensure compliance with VCA policies, safety standards, and AAHA guidelines.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for operational issues during overnight hours.
- Utilize advanced technical skills such as critical patient monitoring, catheter placement, ventilator setup, and CPR recovery.
- Support emergency and specialty teams in delivering high-quality care.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation for overnight shifts.
- Assist with financial oversight, inventory control, and reporting.
- Promote a positive culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
