As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to complete patrols and respond to requests. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines and other security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading docks and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or property concerns.
• Monitor entrances and controlled access points, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and document authorized access in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting building management and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, hazards and unusual observations, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
