Overnight Cleaning Supervisor
About The Position
The Overnight Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all overnight cleaning operations across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation are consistently achieved. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests and staff, while supporting the operational readiness of all food and beverage outlets. Key areas of responsibility include the main kitchens, stewarding areas, public restrooms, restaurants, bars, and spa facilities. The supervisor ensures all cleaning procedures align with brand standards, health regulations, and resort expectations.
Requirements
- Overnight cleaning experience is required
- Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Uphold luxury-level cleanliness standards aligned with Westin brand expectations
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes without compromising quality
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Maintain professionalism and reliability in a fast-paced, overnight work environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler's certification throughout employment.

- Prior Supervisory experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate overnight cleaning teams, ensuring all assigned areas are completed efficiently and to standard
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen spaces, including equipment, floors, drains, and storage areas
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of public restrooms, ensuring they meet high guest-facing standards at all times
- Ensure restaurants, bars, and spa areas are thoroughly cleaned, reset, and prepared for the following day’s operations
- Conduct routine inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance with health and sanitation standards
- Train, coach, and support team members, reinforcing proper cleaning procedures and safe chemical usage
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Address and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain clear communication with leadership and other departments to ensure seamless overnight operations
