Avista Senior Living North Mountain is looking for a Caregiver to join our team! Avista Senior Living is expanding throughout Arizona and is currently looking for CAREGIVERS to join our team at our community in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking to fill the OVERNIGHT SHIFT. Requirements

AZ Caregiver certification
Proven experience as a personal care assistant, minimum of 1 year experience
Committed to health & safety reliable
Excellent communication and people skills
A positive and compassionate attitude
Physical stamina
CPR certified, finger print card

Responsibilities

Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan
Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents.
Promotes resident independence and self-care.
Delivers care and services in accordance with individual service plan for all assigned residents.
Maintains accurate and complete records of care delivered.
Completes incident reports accurately and timely.
Understands policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean.
Recognizes, responds to, and reports concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of resident.
