About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic garage door service technician to add to our expanding team. Primary responsibilities as a technician will be the installation of garage doors, both at homes and in businesses, as well as the training of other technicians. Since our company offers repairs, new installations, and remodels, technicians will go to multiple project locations, and no two days will be alike. Every day, all over our coverage areas, you'll be representing our company and dealing with clients, so you will need excellent customer service skills. The ideal applicant for this position is someone who is comfortable working with power tools and has a basic understanding of how electrical systems are wired and connected. Requirements

• Skills in communication, listening, and working well with others are a must
• For this role, you need to have outstanding skills in providing service to customers
• Comfortable with using power and hand tools
• Skills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tape
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate

Responsibilities

• Utilize our software for notes, generating quotes, and invoicing
• Be punctual for all appointments and work hard to exceed customer expectations
• Take part in all workplace functions, and follow all policies and procedures
• Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available options
• Check the location and measure openings for installation when working on larger jobs
