The Records Analyst (RA) ensures compliance with the organization's Records & Information Management (RIM) Program, including the records management policy, and overseeing the inventory and control of business records. This role involves training business units on records management standards and procedures, enforcing policies, and supporting records management activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of college, or four plus years of relevant experience.
  • RIM/IG certificate desirable.
  • Working Knowledge of Iron Mountain systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retention guidelines, automated systems, and applications.

Responsibilities

  • RIM Program Compliance: Ensure program compliance through customer education, process improvement, and policy adherence.
  • RIM Program Implementation: Implement customer’s records management programs, including destruction, training, and system-specific instruction (e.g. IMConnect)
  • RIM Program Administration and Coordination: Administer and coordinate program activities, such as processing records, maintaining databases, and providing customer support.
  • Electronic Records Management Systems Administration and Coordination: Support system implementation for RIM compliance and provide user training.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, present recommendations, and resolve issues.
