More About the Outsourced Accounting Senior Role: We are currently seeking an individual looking to take that next step in advancing their career path by accepting the engaging and fulfilling role as an Outsourced Accounting Senior in our Tallahassee office. Requirements

  • Have at least 4-6 years of bookkeeping or related experience in a professional office environment
  • An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping, including extensive knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize and work with multiple clients and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • This is an in-person at the office working role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and general ledger adjustments.
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts and balance the general ledger, including trial balances.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and related analyses.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing and vendor maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly payroll, including overtime and pay premiums, and complete quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
  • Prepare cash, deposit, and other reconciliation reports.
  • Review expense reports for accuracy and proper classification.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
