About The Position

Walk into any business in the Austin metro and look around. The lobby signage. The window graphics. The trade show displays. The vehicle wrap in the parking lot. Every one of those is a sale someone made and most of those businesses haven't been called on in months, or ever. FASTSIGNS of Leander & Cedar Park is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to build new business across the Cedar Park, Leander, and Georgetown corridor. This is a hunter role. You will prospect, present, and close and have a dedicated team behind you will handle day-to-day production so you can stay focused on the next opportunity. We're a multi-location operation doing real volume across the Austin metro, and we're growing. This role exists because we're ready to add dedicated outside capacity. You'll spend most of your time in front of prospects and customers in person, on the phone, and over email. FASTSIGNS products are more complex than most people expect. Substrate options, installation requirements, permit considerations, production timelines. A rep who doesn't know the product will overpromise and lose accounts fast. So we invest in your product knowledge before we send you out. Your first 30 days are center-based. You'll work the front counter, process real customer orders, learn the production workflow from the inside, and understand exactly what gets built, how, and why. This isn't busywork, eps who skip this step fail in the field. By the time you're in front of prospects, you'll be able to answer questions that most competitors' reps can't. Outbound prospecting begins in month two at a reduced quota, ramping to full quota by month four. You'll be paid during the entire ramp period. If you're not willing to spend 30 days learning the business from the inside before hitting the field, this isn't the right fit. We operate four locations across the Austin metro — Burnet Road, Anderson Mill, Leander/Cedar Park, and Georgetown — with a team that takes the work seriously and a culture that rewards performance. We're not a startup and we're not a giant corporation. We're a locally owned multi-center operation that knows our customers by name and builds things we're proud of. Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a track record you can speak to specifically
  • Self-directed. You build your own schedule and hold yourself accountable to results
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, persistent follow-up, and a sales cycle that sometimes takes months
  • Detail-oriented enough to manage proof approvals and customer communication without dropping the ball , custom production requires it
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; regular local travel is part of the job
  • Proficient with CRM tools; HubSpot experience a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in print, signage, promotional products, marketing services, or a similar visual communications environment
  • Established network in the Cedar Park, Leander or Georgetown business community
  • History of opening net-new accounts, not just managing an inherited book

Responsibilities

  • Build and work a pipeline of 40+ qualified prospects at all times
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand what businesses need and why they need it
  • Present and close proposals for signage, graphics, vehicle wraps, trade show displays, ADA signage, and more
  • Perform site surveys and identify upsell opportunities on every visit
  • Coordinate proof approvals and customer communication through production on your accounts — particularly during your ramp period while relationships are being established
  • Hand off mature accounts to our inside team as they stabilize and stay engaged on growth opportunities
  • Accept qualified leads routed from our centers for accounts that don't require a site visit
  • Log all activity in HubSpot
