Saela is seeking a Certified Inspector for a hands-on, field-based role that combines sales with physical, on-site work. This position involves generating new business opportunities and driving revenue through customer-focused sales strategies. The role requires traditional sales skills combined with creativity to identify client needs, present tailored solutions, and build long-term relationships. Requirements

  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, ladders, etc.)
  • Willingness to split time between sales and manual/field work
  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a field-based setting
  • Sales experience preferred in labor or pest control service
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize tasks
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction, HVAC, field service, or similar
  • Prior experience performing inspections, and/or selling/servicing in HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, face-to-face customer service, or other types of in-home technician experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed pest control inspections for residential customers
  • Actively participate in hands-on tasks, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas
  • Recommend customized pest control solutions based on inspection findings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Drive new business by identifying potential customers and presenting pest control solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups
  • Effectively manage your time, prioritize tasks, and work independently in the field
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering advice when needed
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management team
