About The Position

Gunther Waste Solutions is a growing commercial waste and recycling company serving Central Maryland. We are hiring a Commercial Sales Representative – Front Load / Rear Load to expand our permanent commercial service routes in Anne Arundel County and Howard County. This role is focused on long-term commercial accounts, route density, and recurring revenue. The position will work hand in hand with the Sales Manager to support pricing strategy, account setup, and long-term customer success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (waste, property management, construction services, or route-based sales preferred)
  • Comfortable cold calling, door knocking, and in-person selling
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results driven
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and longer sales cycles

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and sign new permanent commercial waste accounts
  • Sell front load and rear load waste service to commercial customers
  • Target property managers, shopping centers, office parks, medical facilities, restaurants, and HOAs
  • Conduct site visits and service assessments
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for long-term service agreements
  • Close new commercial service contracts
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Work closely with operations to ensure proper service setup
  • Maintain organized records of prospects and customers
