About The Position

Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative – Commercial focuses on generating sales, developing customer relationships, and expanding our customer base. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing existing relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, and providing legendary customer service to ensure long-term client satisfaction. This position would cater to the Commercial market segment geared towards those customers who consistently use equipment for either short term use or long term projects including Sand Blasting, Painting, Power Plants, Surface Preparation Contractors, Facility Maintenance Contractors, Remediation/Restoration, General Contractors, HVAC Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Construction Drying, Generator Service Contractors, Large Venues, Special Event Contractors/Coordinators, Tent Rental Companies, Party Rental Companies, Hospitals, Telecommunications, New Home Construction, Schools, Correctional Facilities, or College Campuses. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Sales Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other sales techniques to generate new business opportunities Lead Qualification: Qualify and prioritize leads based on their needs, budget, and potential to convert into long-term clients Product/Service Presentation: Effectively present and demonstrate our products/services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, offering support and ensuring they are satisfied with the products/services Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, contributing to overall company growth and success Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position products and services to meet client needs Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer support, and product teams to align sales efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards targets using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
