We’re seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our Jamestown, NY territory. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers succeed through innovative welding and industrial solutions. What You’ll Do As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving profitable growth and strengthening customer partnerships. You’ll:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related environment
  • Proven sales success with measurable results
  • Strong technical aptitude paired with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to develop and execute territory, market, and business plans

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience in welding equipment or industrial equipment rental preferred
  • Working knowledge of welding applications, positioning equipment, and related technologies is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for building long-term relationships

Responsibilities

  • Grow territory sales and profitability through expansion of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
  • Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up
  • Develop and promote welding equipment sales and rental solutions within your assigned region
  • Prepare quotes, deliver presentations, and provide consistent customer follow-up
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across all departments
  • Actively manage and support customers’ cylinder inventory programs
  • Review customer operations and recommend process or equipment improvements as opportunities arise
  • Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to exceed customer expectations
