Metals USA, Walker, Michigan, has a career opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative. The territory covered will be the east side of Michigan. This position's main responsibility is to build and maintain our customer base by focusing on meeting customer needs, building relationships and meeting our goal as a customer-driven company. This position develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase the organization's stock sales as well as value-added processing sales. Resolves customer issues, researches and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to increase sales. Schedules and performs cold calls and calls to existing customers in assigned territory. Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes and/or negotiations.
