About The Position

Gensco has an immediate need for an Outside Sales Representative - HVAC Equipment to service new and established accounts in our Eastern Region serving the greater Kennewick-Pasco, Washington area! Summary Perform a broad range of responsibilities for commercial equipment sales, Customer development, value engineering support, system design assistance and sales support responsibilities. Product lines include Trane, American Standard, Midea, and Ameristar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience preferred
  • Related industry outside sales experience
  • High level of proficiency in computer technology including Microsoft Office.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a good driving history. All company vehicles are equipped with dual-facing dashcam technology to ensure safety of our Team and the public.
  • Thinks creatively and identifies sales opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated.
  • Positive approach toward challenging situations.
  • Strong decision-making abilities: understand impact and implications of decisions.

  • Able to travel to multiple facilities as required and overnight(s) if necessary

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service with a concierge attitude toward Customers
  • Sell commercial and industrial HVAC equipment to Commercial Equipment Customers
  • Attain all individual Sales goals and improves market share in: Light Commercial Equipment Sales, “new account” sales, “new commercial product” sales, growth of existing commercial products, and marketing program/sales initiative performance
  • Attend training sessions with Customers and take an active role in helping those Customers execute on resulting action plans
  • Support Region Credit Manager in dealing with Customer credit and collections issues.
