Requirements

• Proven outside sales experience (building materials preferred)
• Strong knowledge of lumber and construction materials preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and drive results
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Prospect and aggressively pursue new contractor and builder accounts
• Maintain and grow an assigned sales territory
• Conduct regular job site and office visits
• Prepare competitive quotes for lumber and building materials
• Build long-term customer relationships
• Meet and exceed sales and margin goals
• Collaborate with inside sales, estimating, and yard teams to ensure customer satisfaction
