About The Position

FlexDecks, Inc. is a pioneer and leader in the design and manufacture of innovative, modular maintenance and access platforms for the most technologically advanced military aircrafts and commercial industries in the world. The Sales department plays a major role in the growth of the business, through new business development and continual expansion of existing customer relationships. As an Outside Sales Representative for FlexDecks, Inc., this individual is directly responsible for qualifying leads, managing and cultivating customer relations and nurturing customers from beginning to end of the sale. This individual must be self-driven, enthusiastic about their job and able to work independently with others within in the company.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related industry experience or, in lieu of education, 4+ years of related industry experience in safety systems sales and installation.
  • Experience and knowledge of the aluminum manufacturing and maintenance platform industry
  • Willing to undergo drug/alcohol and background screens in accordance with local laws and regulations
  • United States Work Authorization Required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for revenue and profit.
  • Prospect additional opportunities through networking, existing customer database, cold calls and referrals in assigned territory.
  • Perform presentations to large and small customer audiences.
  • Maintain a database of assigned leads and opportunities.
  • Attend sales training and company meetings.
  • Follow defined sales processes.
  • Travel and perform site visits and customer consultations to determine solutions and obtain detailed information for proposals.
  • Estimate and prepare detailed technical proposals.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sale.
  • Develop strong business relationships within all levels of organizations, including senior level executives.
  • Develop new accounts.
  • Collaborate with corporate personnel to ensure a smooth sales process and satisfied customers, (i.e., project managers, engineers, administration and management)
  • Travel: 50-70% overnight.
