The Opportunity We are seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Commack, NY. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers seeking moving and storage services. You'll be provided with company-generated leads while also having the opportunity to build your own book of business. If you're driven, organized, and motivated to succeed in a performance-based environment, this is a high-income opportunity with strong support and structure.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales experience (required)
- Strong closing ability and customer-facing confidence
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home and virtual consultations for local and long-distance moves
- Prepare detailed, accurate moving estimates using company software
- Manage a steady pipeline of company-provided leads
- Self-generate 10-20% of business through networking and outreach
- Travel throughout Suffolk County, Nassau County, and NYC boroughs
- Maintain consistent follow-up to convert leads into booked business (target 40%+)
- Coordinate closely with operations and move coordinators to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain detailed records, notes, and communication in CRM systems
- Stay responsive to clients before, during, and after their move
