About The Position

Position Summary We are seeking a relationship-driven Insurance Agent who thrives on building long-term partnerships rather than cold calling. This role focuses on generating new business through referrals from real estate professionals and other centers of influence (COIs) while delivering exceptional service to clients and partners. This position is ideal for someone who understands that trust, consistency, and follow-up drive sustainable growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Relationship Development Build and maintain strong referral relationships with: Real estate agents & brokers Mortgage lenders Builders & contractors Financial advisors & CPAs Other local centers of influence Proactively network through meetings, events, office visits, and community involvement Position yourself as a trusted insurance resource for referral partners Referral-Based Sales Generate new business primarily through referral sources Conduct insurance reviews and consultations for referred clients Educate clients on coverage options and risk management Cross-sell and round accounts appropriately (home, auto, life, etc.) Partner Support & Value Creation Provide timely quotes and service to support real estate transactions Communicate clearly with referral partners throughout the buying process Identify opportunities to add value to partner businesses (education, resources, availability) Client Retention & Service Build long-term relationships with clients Conduct policy reviews and coverage updates Ensure high retention through proactive communication and service

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable networking and relationship building
  • Self-motivated with excellent follow-through
  • Professional presence and integrity-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (Life & Health preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in insurance, real estate, sales, or relationship-based roles preferred
