An Account Manager is responsible for identifying new business-to-business (B2B) prospects in rural areas and selling products to them by continuously prospecting business leads using our proprietary technologies. The role primarily involves outside sales and business-to-business interactions, with cold calling and marketing also playing key roles in prospecting. The Account Manager serves as the liaison between VizyPay and merchants. Build and manage merchant relationships, collect information, and ensure that company offerings meet the individual needs of each merchant. Address merchants' needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships; ensuring the merchant's needs are understood and satisfied (we do things pretty fast!). Manage the outside sales cycle from start to finish (you control your destiny!). The role is based in the surrounding areas of the Des Moines Metro and surrounding rural areas, which includes in-state travel requirements within the respective territory.
