The Outreach Worker also provides parents with applicable community referrals. As an Outreach Worker, you will provide one-on-one respite and mentoring services to adoptive children with behavioral and attachment challenges, work with program therapists to implement goals, plan group activities, facilitate monthly children’s social groups, and refer parents to needed community resources. This reduced full-time position includes some evening and weekend hours and is a great way to start your career in the social work field.
