What You’ll Do The Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) is the City’s accredited public health agency, promoting healthy people, healthy pets, and a sustainable environment through education, engagement, and enforcement. The department is funded by the General Fund, Enterprise Funds, Special Revenue Funds, and a mix of state, federal, and private grants and donations. As the Outreach Case Coordinator you will be working to fulfill one of Mayor Johnston’s goals of ending unsheltered homelessness in Denver. You will be working and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team from Denver Department of PUblic Health and Environment and other city agencies. You will provide outreach, resources, and referrals to people from various backgrounds and experiences who may often experience trauma, stigma, oppression; people who use substances, people living with mental health challenges, and people experiencing unstable housing. The majority of the workday will be spent outside, in various parts of Denver, in all weather.
