This includes devising, implementing, and analyzing the scheduling system. Duties involve managing no‑shows, maintaining core schedules, filling appointment slots, managing reschedules and cancellations, and ensuring full schedules

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Business preferred.
  • Experience supporting behavioral health programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of EMR systems.
  • Computer and smartphone proficiency; strong typing and Microsoft 365 skills.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and update core schedules monthly.
  • Schedule clients via in‑person, phone, or electronic methods.
  • Follow scheduling guidelines set by management.
  • Communicate scheduling changes with providers.
  • Quickly backfill cancellations.
  • Maintain proper client flow.
  • Distribute and collect required forms.
  • Implement, explain, and enforce scheduling policy.
  • Provide feedback on scheduling issues and improvements.
  • Verify client demographics at check‑in.
  • Collect co‑pays, payments, and outstanding balances.
  • Back up front desk as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
