About The Position

Northeast Family Services is actively seeking compassionate and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join their expanding team in New York. Operating under the guidance of the Program Director, Fee for Service (FFS) Outpatient Clinicians are responsible for delivering services and care to patients, adhering strictly to NFS' policies. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing and respected organization that is expanding across New York and nationally. NFS Outpatient Therapists engage collaboratively with clients, empowering them to leverage their inherent strengths to achieve their full potential. The role involves implementing structured, consistent, and strength-based therapeutic interventions to address the behavioral health needs of youth, utilizing various evidence-based practices to foster family strengths. The position is a hybrid opportunity, allowing therapists to make a significant impact on the lives of children, adults, and families.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work
• LCSW Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of NY required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred
• Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus

• Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies
• Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential
• Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs
• Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths
