The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust are looking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Outpatient Support Clerk within the service. We are able to offer a full time opportunity to the right candidate who will provide effective administrative support to the Community Paediatric Outpatient Support Team at the Gem Centre. The job holder will be required to utilise effective time management skills to undertake a variety of duties associated with scheduling appointments via waiting lists. In addition, the successful candidates will provide cover of our reception area when needed, acting as a first point of contact for patients, families and professionals. The successful candidate will proactively use a range of IT systems including the Trust inhouse patient administration systems, as well as ERS and Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Advert Duties will include dealing with referrals into the service, validating waiting lists, booking / changing clinic appointments, administrative work associated with patient attendances, responding to patient enquires both face to face and telephone and covering for colleagues at times of absence. You should have a polite, friendly manner, and be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information professionally.
