Riverside Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join a growing, well-established rheumatology program serving the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. This position is predominantly outpatient-focused , with limited inpatient consultative responsibilities, and offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong system support. Hampton, Virginia (Primary) | Williamsburg, Virginia (Potential Secondary Site) Position Overview Predominantly outpatient rheumatology practice Limited inpatient consultative coverage Practice located in Hampton, VA with potential clinical presence in Williamsburg, VA In-suite infusion center supporting comprehensive biologic and infusion therapy management Integrated care model with access to orthopedics, primary care, imaging, physical therapy, and infusion services Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking a rheumatologist who is: Clinically excellent and committed to high-quality, evidence-based care Collegial, collaborative, and team-oriented Interested in teaching and mentoring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Enjoys participation in the education of residents and learners Comfortable contributing to the growth and development of a maturing rheumatology service line Practice Environment Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty alignment APP support structure On-site infusion services to streamline patient care and enhance continuity Emphasis on access, patient experience, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Eligible for Virginia medical licensure
Clinically excellent and committed to high-quality, evidence-based care
Collegial, collaborative, and team-oriented
