About The Position

As the fastest-growing behavioral health practice group, LifeStance Health is seeking a part-time (15+ hours/week) or full-time (30+ hours/week) Adult Psychiatrist or Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This role is for their outpatient group in San Jose, California, with additional locations available for convenient commuting. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and strong clinical support in a modern, patient-centered environment. LifeStance is a national provider of mental healthcare services, offering evidence-based, medically driven treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health issues in outpatient settings, both in-person and via telemedicine. The company employs psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed therapists across the US.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry (Adult or Child & Adolescent)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
- Passionate about delivering high-quality outpatient care

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care to adult or child/adolescent populations
- Customize your practice: medication management, psychotherapy, or a blend
- Set your own pace: determine your preferred caseload and patient volume
- Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
