About The Position

The UMSJ Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute is located on the campus the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. We are a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic that includes Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Our staff work as a team in this unregulated outpatient office with a wonderful working environment. We offer free parking and a flexible schedule. We are part of the University of Maryland Rehab Network. Job Description Delivers physical therapy services through the evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Performs patient assessments and develops individualized treatment plan programs for clients/patients to improve movement, manage pain, and/or prevent injury. Develops and maintains long- and short-term treatment objectives and re-evaluates and modifies treatment programs as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree accepted if licensed prior to 2016 (per previous licensing requirement)
None
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

Delivers physical therapy services through the evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.
Performs physical therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted standards, Maryland Department of Health Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, code of ethics, and departmental and/or organizational policies and procedures.
