About The Position

The ETSU Department of Internal Medicine invites board-certified or board-eligible Internists to join our established team at ETSU Health outpatient clinics in the Appalachian Highlands of Tennessee. Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of internal medicine principles and evidence-based clinical practice
Ability to manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting
Strong teaching and mentoring skills for medical trainees
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative care delivery
Proficiency in electronic health record documentation and clinical workflows
Commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and patient-centered care
Ability to balance clinical, educational, and scholarly responsibilities
Medical Degree (MD, DO, or MBBS) from an accredited institution
Completion of an Internal Medicine residency from an ACGME-accredited program (at time of hire)
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (at time of interview)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education
Teach and mentor medical students and residents in Internal Medicine
