About The Position
Conifer Park is looking for a Counselor/Therapist, I or II to join our Outpatient Team in Troy, NY. As a Counselor/Therapist with Conifer Park you will function as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services and individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload.
Requirements
- Counselor Requirements: Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience
- Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification
- CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Therapist I Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with one year related experience
- CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations)
- CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Therapist II Requirements: Master’s Degree in related field
- Current LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience
- CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations)
- CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required
