About The Position

Position Overview Residential Therapists provide individual or group therapy to Adolescent clients. Therapists collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting with other Emily Program clinicians to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required.
  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and coordinates services and monitors and evaluates individualized treatment plans
  • Conducts assigned group counseling sessions and therapeutic meal support
  • Collaborate with Emily Program Staff, community professionals, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standards and may participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentation
  • Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in his or her professional organization; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing literature
