We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide rehabilitation services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for a Cardiopulmonary Rehab Specialist that is passionate about patient recovery in a teamwork environment. Northside Gwinnett Outpatient rehab is a newly renovated outpatient rehab gym. Patients are evaluated and incorporated into a group setting to provide cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Cardiopulmonary rehab includes education on nutrition, exercise progression, disease progression and more. Team-focused approach as there is interdisciplinary collaboration as well as active communication with many healthcare providers We Are Seeking:Cardiopulmonary Specialist with a strong drive to learn and grow - enhance your clinical skills while working with an experienced team Candidate with a strong emphasis on patient care, quality, outcomes, and efficiency Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate’s degree or equivalent and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory care. Valid state license Responsible individual with a solid work ethic Excellent communication and people skills Qualifications Required Registered Nurse: must maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia OR Exercise Physiologist: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Sports Medicine. Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS). Knowledge Skills and Abilities/License or Certification preferred 2 years experience in cardiology involving the exercise treatment of cardiac patients Prior experience with various types of cardiac equipment. Certified by AACVPR as clinical specialist preferred. Preferred certification by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Test Technologist or Exercise Specialist.
