About the Role: The Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive, person-centered care through: Ongoing client assessment and individualized treatment planning Facilitating individual sessions, educational sessions, and group counseling Leading an in-person and/or telehealth, co-ed outpatient group Ensuring all practices align with Minnesota Rule 245G and ethical standards You’ll join a collaborative, trauma-informed care team dedicated to ethical, empathetic service.
Requirements
- Licensure by the State of Minnesota for Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing OR Temporary Permit through the State of Minnesota in good standing.
- Know and understand the implications of chapter 245G, chapter 245A, and sections 626.556, 626.557 and 626.5572.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing client assessment and individualized treatment planning
- Facilitating individual sessions, educational sessions, and group counseling
- Leading an in-person and/or telehealth, co-ed outpatient group
- Ensuring all practices align with Minnesota Rule 245G and ethical standards
