About The Position

The Outlet Retail Supervisor assists the Outlet Retail Manager in the operation of the Outlet. Responsible for maintaining an optimum level of merchandise rotations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in retail environment.
  • Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience.
  • Familiar with time-keeping software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds and to operate computer systems. Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; standing for long periods of time; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain). Extended standing on hard surfaces; ability to operate heavy machinery is a safe and responsible manner. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
  • Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
  • Interview, assist with hiring, evaluate and discipline employees.
  • Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
  • Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
  • Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results.
  • Maintain clear communication with Store Manager.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Perform the functions of Sales Associate when needed.
  • Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the manager.
  • Operate mechanical equipment as assigned (Balers, tipper, and Electronic Conveyor Belt)
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
