Requirements

Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar required.
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for hospitality and guest engagement.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (cases of liquor, trays, supplies).
Manual dexterity for precise drink preparation and service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet every guest promptly with warmth and professionalism.
Craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, consistency, and creativity.
Take food and beverage orders and deliver items to tables as needed.
Provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
Create an engaging, upbeat bar atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and menu offerings.
Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and specialty ingredients to ensure efficiency during service.
Stay current on industry trends and introduce new beverage ideas when appropriate.
Ensure all beverages meet presentation and quality standards.
Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and verify legal drinking age.
Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and assigned dining areas.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and supply management.
Operate and maintain bar equipment properly.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
Support team members during high-volume periods.
Assist in training and mentoring new bartenders and servers.
Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment.
Upsell premium beverages, specialty cocktails, and featured menu items.
Promote daily specials and seasonal offerings.
Support cost control through proper pouring, waste reduction, and inventory awareness.
