As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we’ve rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1 million-square-foot factory. This role is pivotal in implementing both company and regulatory quality standards for product manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in industry and governmental quality regulations, audit and review quality data in line with our protocols, and ensure the results are documented appropriately. Reporting directly to a manager, the Lab Inspector will be integral to our mission of establishing a top-tier production facility in central Ohio. Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Illuminate USA is seeking highly motivated team members to help the company grow from startup to a full scale, industry leading manufacturer with $1B - $2B expected annual revenue and over 1,200 employees in less than two years. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Between 0-2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of production safety and lean production techniques is a must.
  • An innate curiosity and keenness to learn continuously.
  • Exceptional public speaking skills, exuding confidence and poise.
  • A natural ability to thrive under pressure and outstanding coordination, planning, and execution skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and proficiency in Microsoft Office will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily testing operations within the laboratory.
  • Spearhead the application processes for TUV witness laboratory and CNAS laboratory accreditations.
  • Oversee the reception duties for both customer and internal laboratory visits.
  • Direct and ensure regular maintenance activities for all laboratory equipment.
  • Take charge of the update and maintenance of laboratory and testing system documents, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and other relevant guidelines.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities or tasks as delegated by superiors.
