The Outdoor Recreation Rental Shop Coordinator will provide day to day oversight and support for the Outdoor Recreation Program’s Equipment Rental Program and the Bike and Ski Repair shops. The Rental Shop Coordinator will also provide logistic support to Outdoor Recreation Programs, mentor student staff, maintain and purchase additional equipment as needed, and support the general business functions of the program and Campus Rec. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Equipment Rental Shop oversight and student staff development Bike and Ski Repair Shop oversight Supporting risk management for student led programs Collaborative problem solving of workflow and logistics management for the Outdoor Recreation Program Curriculum development and assessment Marketing and recruit for Rental shop services with an emphasis on supporting on campus students. Scheduling of student staff Participation in Campus Rec departmental goals and initiatives Ability to move a backpack up to 50% of body weight over varied terrain Other Duties as assigned Physical Demands Ability to move a backpack up to 50% of body weight over varied terrain.
