About The Position

This position involves performing various maintenance and custodial duties at the Legacy Center swimming facility. Responsibilities include working with hazardous materials and small equipment, ensuring aquatic facility equipment is in good running condition, and repairing or replacing worn-out or broken equipment. The role also requires keeping the aquatic facilities clean. On-the-job training is provided, and the work schedule is 4 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. The individual will report directly to the head maintenance person and aquatic managers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physically fit
• Proficient swimmer
• Good written and verbal skills
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the public
• Pass drug and background check
• Employment is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of mechanical functioning of an aquatic facility preferred or other mechanical experience with the willingness to learn
