Outdoor Pool Cashier/Concessions
About The Position
The job entails both cashier and concessions and requires a food handler's Permit. Cashier at outdoor swimming pool: Will receive and disburse money. Needs to know how to use electronic scanners, cash registers and related equipment. Process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks. Responsible for receiving money for admissions and concessions. Balance till consistently and accurately. Concession work includes but not limited to: Selling concessions. Handling transactions. Stocking supplies. Operate some heating appliances. Keep the concession area clean enough to always pass the health department inspections.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Have a flexible working schedule, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, some evenings and Saturdays.
- Having good public relations skills are a must.
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Have good general health.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to follow directions and work well with other employees.
- Is required to have a current food handler's permit.
- Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Have knowledge of computers and prior related work experience is desirable.
