Join our education team as an Outdoor Educator. Great Parks is seeking a qualified professional to create and lead outdoor programming. Though based at Miami Whitewater Forest, this position will support programming efforts throughout the west region, including Shawnee Lookout, Mitchell Memorial Forest, Fernbank Park, Embshoff Woods and our newest park at Werk Rd. A successful Interpreter II provides strong communication skills, quick thinking on their feet and engages children and adults alike through hands on activities and engaging programming. This year-round position will average 30 hours per week and will require evening and weekend shifts. From guided nature hikes and animal encounters to summer camps and first person historical interpretation, this role welcomes people from all professional backgrounds.
