The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for an Outdoor Distribution Technician . In this role you will be responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption. The primary focus for the Outdoor Distribution Technician will be moving material to the assembly line via stand-up, or sit-down fork truck.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
• Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

Responsibilities

• Moving material to the assembly line via stand-up fork truck
• Helping Stores Controller maintain inventory accuracy on production parts
• Making sure material is delivered to point of use in FIFO order.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
