Outdoor Distribution Technician-3rd Shift

The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for an Outdoor Distribution Technician. In this role you will be responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption. The primary focus for the Outdoor Distribution Technician will be moving material to the assembly line via stand-up, or sit-down fork truck.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
- Basic computer skills.

- Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
- Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.
Responsibilities
- Moving material to the assembly line via stand-up fork truck
- Helping Stores Controller maintain inventory accuracy on production parts
- Making sure material is delivered to point of use in FIFO order.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
